RPM Monitoring
The RPM monitoring is a one of the salient feature of the SCADA system, in which function giving 0.5 % accuracy of the vessel engine speed in the form of real-time data. The RPM calculation of the PLC system depends on the flywheel of the vessel engine. The systems cables are all marine standard cables as well heavy duty to with stand high temperature, mechanical and electrical sound.
Cost of Implementing
The above system will allow Vessel owners to track accurately the R.P.M of any given vessel at any time. This system will allow owners to see if their vessels are operating on a very fuel efficient basis which directly relates to the throttling of the engine R.P.M. This system will include everything from cables to the hardware which would enable this function. Please refer to above field components that will be installed in the vessel. However, this would not include any cost of laying the cables that would have to be done by the yard, shipment/taxes of equipment coming into Batam, Indonesia and/or other miscellaneous costs that is beyond Fleet Automation Pte Ltd. Please note that at this time, installation of equipment/systems can only be done in Singapore/Batam.
